A new system called MIDAS (Mileage Input Data Access System) has been developed for Pertemps, by Pertemps. Its for their 600-vehicle fleet and 200-vehicle grey fleet. After being unhappy with their current solution, Pertemps looked to develop a solution in house to help better distinguish between private and business miles.

The solution has been taken one step further now and can be offered to other fleets, the package is internet based and can be useful to those who use fuel cars or pay and reclaim schemes. Mark Roden has been hired as the General manager for Toyota and Lexus, who will deal with fleet and vehicle re-marketing. Mark has been a manager for both Lexus and Toyota’s Network general manager so it seems that he fit the requirements.

At the moment the market is being so hard for getting fleet sales in but with the latest technologies coming from Toyota and Lexus, they should maintain a good choice for fleet managers. Some of these include a new Toyota Prius and in general, hybrid technology. Mark took over from Richard Balshaw who was promoted to sales director who he will know report to.

Fleet car company offer the Toyota Prius

The West Lothian council in Scotland have recently approved for the Toyota Prius to be a taxi cab and one car company in particular now offers a fleet of Prius cars.
