Its now half way through the government scrappage scheme and so far a staggering 155,000 cars have been sold. The highest amount sold is in the South-East of England with the South West selling the least.
It has already proven that it boosts the car industry but obviously this is only on a short term basis and we shall see how the next half of the scheme improves car sales.
The south-east will always have high amounts of car sales because it has the most amount of dealers.
