According to latest research, many young drivers are not aware that it is actually a legal requirement for them to have car insurance.
10% of not aware of the legal requirement for car insurance and as many as 250,000 young drivers are currently on the road without insurance. 1 in 5 apparently go on the roads with out insurance. It costs almost half a million pounds each year because of young drivers not having car insurance.
