Toyota have announced recently that the hybrid Auris (mentioned here) will be manufactured in the UK, more specifically in Derbyshire. With its recent plans to make more hydrogen powered cars, Toyota are set to begin production in 2010, as previously mentioned in their plan to make all their cars hydrogen powered.
Recently Saab has confirmed that there are two buyers that could make advances to aquire the swedish company.
Deals could be wrapped up within 2 weeks if all goes to plan. The two battling out for the aquisition are Koenigsegg and the Renco Group.
It has been claimed recently that petrol prices are once again rising to the £1 a litre mark and above. Prices have remained low since October 2008 and are now creeping up to slight above 100p a litre. Diesel prices are said to be rocketing up to 103p a litre as well.
