New car sales higher in October!

The opposite to whats happening with used car sales is happening with new car sales! Motor car sales have risen by around 30% last month. The sales are due mainly to the extension of the scrappage scheme, in fact around 20% of the sales have been through the scrappage scheme.

The demand for fleet vehicles has also gone up from businesses which is good for fleet dealers. Last October there was around a 20% fall so to be up by so much this October is very good news. It is expected that sales will continue to go up for the next couple of months to the end of the year with fleet demands gradually decreasing. Watch this space!

Used car sales dropping rapidly

Motor car sales are beginning to drop fast in a short space of time according to latest research on the internet.

Car values at auctions are falling and internet prices are falling too. Whether the recession is still hitting the country and affecting car prices, its not easy to tell but all of a sudden prices have dropped and there must be a reason. It has literally been over the last month that companies have started to find prices have dropped in the motor trade. In the motor trade industry, companies and individuals are apparently nervous about the prices they are going to pay for vehicles. We shall keep you updated or any other trends in the motor trade or car industry.

Car sales on the rise

Latest research claims that last month in August car sales rose up to 5% higher than they were last August. Naturally we believe this is because of the government scrappage scheme. As car sales actually keep rising this year, it holds our government in good stead to get out of this ridiculous credit crunch.

Ford is still dominating the car sales with the highest percentage made, with vauxhall as always a close second.  All the major players in the car industry are now calling for an extension to the scrappage to help benefit the car industry. Hopefully September will also have a good month, especially with the introduction of the new number plate.
