What is Goods In transit and do I need it?

Goods in transit or “GIT” is the cover that the policy holder needs in order to transport the customers goods, the cover ensures the customers goods whilst being transported by the policy holder.

I have been asked to deliver goods to the EU, will you cover this under a Goods In Transit Policy?

Yes we do provide extensions to GIT cover on request, if you feel you may need this please contact us immediately to obtain the extension and document needed to travel abroad.

I have been asked to carry pharmaceutical items on behalf of an existing client will my GIT cover me?

No not unless you have obtained this cover from inception or it is referred to as covered within your exiting policy documents. However, we can cover you and therefore please call the office in order to amend your cover and provide you with the relevant documents.

If I cancel my Goods in Transit policy will I get a refund, I have made no claims?

No these policies are referred to as minimum deposit; this means in the event of cancelation there is no refund.
